Customize iOS Agent Notifications

Make sure in-store mobile agents never miss an interaction!

You can now customize queue level notifications for mobile support agents using iOS apps! 

It means that your in-store agents will never miss an interaction notification again. 

With an elongated ringing tone now available, they’ll always be prepared to serve your online customers as fast as their in-store counterparts. 

Previously, agents using Talkative within an iOS app had no way of customizing their interaction notification tone. 

Android users on the other hand can customize any notification in their phone’s settings. 

But with this feature lacking on iOS devices, it meant that each new interaction would trigger a standard iOS notification ping. 

Unfortunately, this wasn’t always the easiest to hear - especially on a busy shop floor. 

But thanks to this latest update, that’s all changed! 

Now, new notifications can be configured to ring for thirty seconds, giving agents enough time and notice to answer the interaction. 

Agents can be kept more accountable, customers get served quicker, and supervisors can rest safe in the knowledge that they are creating an online experience that replicates an in-store interaction. 

It’s a win for everyone involved. 

Practically designed for minimum fuss

This new update only applies to new Talkative interaction notifications. 

So, if your agent has already answered a chat? The next response notification will return to the standard alert tone. 

It means they don’t have to worry about their devices constantly ringing when they’re already mid-interaction.

For Talkative customers using iOS apps, you can get started with customizing your agent notifications by heading over to our support article: Customizing iOS Agent Notifications.

For Android users, you can already customize Talkative notifications by navigating to the notification settings on your given device. From there, you can edit the specific notifications used on an app by app basis.
